The Combined Arms Support Command sponsors the Advanced Civil Schooling (ACS) program with Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Individuals selected for this program attend a 12-month, fully-funded, degree producing program, graduating with a Master's of Supply Chain Management with a Supply Chain Management concentration. This opportunity is open to active-duty Logistics (90A) Captains who meet the prerequisites in accordance with the annually published Military Personnel (MILPER) message.

The Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM) program offers a rigorous, data-focused, and dynamic educational experience designed to meet critical military and corporate demands. Specifically structured to develop forward-thinking leaders, this program equips Army Logistics Officers with the advanced analytical capabilities required to manage complex supply chains and perform high-level predictive analysis to optimize the future fight.

This intensive 30-hour program offers coursework in data analytics, global logistics systems, international logistics, transportation management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and innovation processes. The curriculum's heavy focus on quantitative analysis provides officers with the specialized skills needed to leverage data to predict supply chain bottlenecks, forecast operational demands, and mitigate logistical risks before they impact the mission. Educating professionals from both the corporate and military sectors, the program fosters a collaborative learning environment that builds vital leadership skills, cross-sector networks, and global operational perspectives. Upon successful completion of this program, beginning graduating class of 2027, individuals attending this program (with the supply chain analytics concentration) will qualify for the Skill Identifier L9- Logistics Functional Analyst.
